We buy products both to forecast, supporting client's sales plans; and at our own risk, providing a buffer to un-forecasted shifts in demand. Typically, SLAs for product availability are set at 99% of forecasted sales, a performance benchmark that we routinely exceed. But beyond that, we are able to solve overstock situations for our clients, profitably disposing of excess inventory via alternative channels. As we invest in “free stock” that is available-to-promise, we provide our clients with unique portfolio opportunities and product prices and we are able to satisfy many unexpected spikes in demand.

Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI)

In compliance with the procurement requirements of retailers’ supply chains, NinjaPhones extends VMI into the distribution centres of our clients. VMI leaves inventory management, ownership and risk in the hands of the supplier, so it makes a logical set-up for engagements where NinjaPhones controls or strongly influences the product assortment. Our VMI service is widely used for mobile accessories, where network operators entrust the management of their product range to NinjaPhones.

This service means our customers can obtain products along the entire mobile product supply chain. Our services reach to product design and sourcing down to returns processing incorporating range planning, logistics, inventory management, retailing, e-commerce and marketing.
